Some good new deals were just announced at Leah Cohen's LES
Pig & Khao. The restaurant will be pouring $1 beers from 5 to 7 PM every night, starting this Friday. Pretty sweet, especially if you drop by on Monday, Tuesday or Wednesday, when Cohen will cook up a five-course chefs tasting menu for $39 at the bar (212-920-4485).
If you're over in the West Village, you can also score some drink deals at
Swine, which just launched a new "Tappy Hour" program that applies to anything on tap. It's from 3 to 7 PM every day, vino from the draft is $6 and beer is $7. The bar area can get crowded so we recommend heading over early.
