Alamo Drafthouse Will Open in Brooklyn In 2015

Moviegoing in NYC is undergoing an epic change thanks to places like Nitehawk Cinema in Williamburg and the upcoming branch of Austin's Alamo Drafthouse on the Upper West Side. These joints serve up quality grub and boozy beverages to compliment their offerings on the silver screen. Well, today Eater found out that the folks behind Alamo aren't waiting for their brand to catch on before they expand. In addition to a second location that's already in the works in Yonkers, and today word is that there will be a third Big Apple outpost in Downtown Brooklyn. It will be located in the new City Point complex at 1 Dekalb Ave.
