There's a lot of talk about juicy lucy burgers lately, the cheese-stuffed burgers that ooze when you cut or bite into them, especially since chef Paul Shoemaker
opened Juicy Lucy at the new food court at Figat7th Downtown. And there's also a lot of talk about cheeseburgers in Pasadena right now because it's
Pasadena Cheeseburger Week. So naturally we had to have a juicy lucy cheeseburger in Pasadena, which we found at the
Dog Haus Biergarten in Old Town. The burgers there, like the abundantly topped hot dogs, are served on sweet Hawaiian rolls, which practically disintegrate under this mess. But with all that cheese and grilled onions, oh what a delicious mess it is. And unlike the other Dog Haus in Pasadena, this one has a good craft beer list and happy hour. Double whammy.
