Downtown Culver City has yet another gastropub as of today: the Daily Grill's sibling, Public School 310, debuted in the former Fraiche space. They take the "school" theme pretty seriously here, with leather booths and banquettes now sectioning off and filling the long open space, and accents like vintage globes and microscopes along shelves (we'll put aside bad memories of high school biology for now).
The menu features new updates on classic dishes like deviled eggs with crispy speck, cioppino, and Irish stout short ribs with horseradish Yukon mash. Fourteen out of the 24 taps will constantly change out; expect a heavy rotation of California craft beers. There are classic cocktails, which will change seasonally (look for the upcoming Night School series for special tastings). The daily happy hour (4-7 PM in the bar only) features things like lavash pizzas, spring rolls, fried calamari and sliders ($4-6) plus $4 draft beers and well drinks, and three glasses of wine for $10.
