Eat This:
Tickets are still available for the final three evenings of theFifth Floor’sHoliday Guest Chef series (including tonight’s guest chef Mourad Lahlou (Aziza). Buy This:
Ditch the mall and support your local food entrepreneurs this holiday season by shopping at La Cocina’s annual Gift Bazaar. Nearly 30 La Cocina program participants will be on hand selling their wares; live music and food-filled raffles are two more reasons to skip out of the office early (Friday, 1-7 PM at the Crocker Galleria, 50 Post St, admission is free).

Drink This:
If the idea of dressing up like a zombie, scaring a bunch of kids and trolling around the Tenderloin quenching your thirst with cocktails, not blood, then join other likeminded barflies at the base of the Christmas Tree in Union Square this Friday for SF Zombie Bar’s annual Christmas Pub Crawl. Get more on the terrifying festivities online (Friday, 9M – 2 AM, meet up at 323 Geary St, the crawl is free but bring plenty of cash for the bars).

Nosh This:
The mensches from the Old World Food Truck will be hosting a Hanukkah pop-up dinner this Sunday evening at Coffee Bar in the Mission. The five-course meal will showcase modern riffs on old world holiday staples including, what else?, lots of fried food from latkes to sufganiyot. (The holiday is all about oil, or the lack thereof, after all.) The menu offers plenty of vegetarian alternatives for those not into pickled veal tongue plus an optional wine pairing (Sunday, starting at 6 PM, $55 per person, $15 for wine pairing and $15 wine corkage, reservations must be made in advance online).
