Mitch Prensky's Supper has hosted Scratch Biscuit specials and pop-ups before, but now, fans of the chef's biscuits will be happy to learn that starting the week of December 3, they'll be available on a regular basis. The South Street New American restaurant will be launching weekday specials including an extension of brunch from 11 AM-2 PM and a $30 three-course mostly vegetarian menu on Mondays; fried chicken Tuesdays (half a pastrami fried chicken, a biscuit, house pickles and a side for $25); and Scratch Biscuit Wednesdays, where you can get variations such as the "Pigscuit" (red curry glazed pork belly, daikon slaw and pineapple mayo) and a beer for $10.
Lastly, in addition to the regular 5-7 PM happy hour, there will soon be a late-night version Monday-Thursday from 8-10 PM, with the expected wine, beer and cocktail specials, as well as a three for $12 hors d'oeuvre offering. Makes going out on a school night not seem so bad (215-592-8180).
