The best place to enjoy a giant cut of beef is in a giant steakhouse. Well, Del Frisco's is set to deliver just such a venue when they open in the former Esquire Theater on Saturday. Fans of the steakhouse may recognize some of the signature dishes that are served at the other outposts around the country - there are plenty steaks (most of which have been wet-aged for 28 days), a jumbo lump crab cake with cajun lobster sauce and creamy mac 'n' cheese.

There will be some Windy City specific additions to the bar menu. Along with their martinis, guests can expect mini deep dish pizzas and Chicago-style Kobe beef hot dogs. There's also a large wine list that features over 1,500 bottles from around the world. This is a steak-centric town, so it will be interesting to see just how the brand fares (and the competition will surely have their knives sharpened). Stop by Saturday at 58 E. Oak St.
