Governor after Sandy |
Thanks to numerous fund-raisers, generous donations and hard work, there's some good news from the
Governor team. Based on a recent conversation with chef Bradford McDonald, it seems the team is aiming to relaunch around February-March, however don't expect a glitzy debut right off the bat. The space has been cleaned, but major construction still needs to happen, including replacing the stove. Though once the essential elements are taken care of, the team is eager to take action, even if it means only serving a few tables to start. In the meantime, rebuilding continues, as will pop-up dinners. Culinary event curator
Kitchit is in the midst of planning a series of collaborations across the country, with the first taking place in Chicago this
Monday, December 3. If you won't happen to be in Chicago, you can continue to make donations to the restaurant by clicking
