Abby Lane
Abby Lane, a casual American in the Theater District, officially opened Tuesday. Abby Lane adds to the variety of restaurants in the bustling district and is conveniently located across from the Citi Performing Arts Center (The Wang), making it an ideal spot for pre-theater dining or an after-theater drink.

Jason Santos (Blue Inc.), a Hell’s Kitchen runner-up, is behind the menu that focuses on traditional eats such as Caesar salad, buffalo chicken wings, pizza, burgers, sandwiches, baked mac ’n’ cheese and roast chicken. The family-friendly menu is a departure from Santos’ reputation as being highly creative and using liquid nitrogen in cocktails. Entrees run $16-$28.

Taniya Nayak (HGTV and Food Network designer) transformed the two-level space, the former home of Dominic’s Restaurant, into a handsome and comfortable spot to grab a drink, pre-theater meal or meet friends. While there are two full-service bars on both levels, the first level offers more family-friendly dining and the second level features lounge seating. The restaurant seats upwards of 200 people.

Abby Lane is open 11:30 AM-2 AM daily.
