Now that the Halloween candy has finally been depleted (put down that Clark bar!), and you'll have kids around all hopped up holiday spirit all weekend, this would be a good time to check out Sweet!, the new 30,0000-square-foot, Willy Wonka-themed candy emporium at Hollywood and Highland. Overhyper children and corn syrup fears, be damned!

Here are just a few facts about Sweet!: There are 300 types of chocolate bars, 860 different chocolate products, 200 types of gummy candies, 140 flavors of chewing gum and 250 types of lollipops. And that's before we even get into the chocolate tempering in the Chocolate Lab or the custom hard candy being made in the Sticky boutique. What are those? Yes, separate areas in this mega-candy store where you can build your own chocolate bar - add butterscotch chips, cookie pieces or even bacon - custom design the wrapper, write a love letter, what have you. At Sticky, you can watch hard candy being made. The Stay Puft room is practically made of marshmallows. It's a candy store on steroids.

There's a world of other sweet stuff, like every kind of Wonka candy imaginable, a slew of candies from across the globe, disgustingly flavored candy, good old-fashioned candy, and licorice of every ilk. Get a Candy Card and you can hit up any of the tasting machines among other things.

And, yep, there are Oompa Loompas. Sorry, Dylans.
