How many hipsters does it take to pour the perfect latte? Last night the best baristas in town gathered at the downtown Caffe Medicifor a monthly latte art competition called Thursday Night Throwdown. Here’s some Houndstooth-on-Houndstooth competition, with Stephanie Durstine and Daniel Austin Read gettin' goofy while pouring tulips in one of the last rounds of the bracket. Durstine competed against Medici’s Patrick Hallett for the gold, and Hallett won. The party happens on the last Thursday of each month and is sponsored by Cuvee Coffee and Waterfalls Gourmet Beverages.
