Fans of Andrew Carmellini will now have much happier visits to the airport, at least when they are waiting for their Delta flight out of LaGuardia. Last year it was announced that the airline would offer an array of food options from some of New York's top chefs, and the latest addition, dubbed The Minnow, just opened. The swanky space is designed by ICRAVE (the minds behind Catch and The General) and will feature a raw bar selection and seafood-centric menu by the chef from The Dutch and Locanda Verde.
In other news from the world of Carmellini, the chef will be previewing his new restaurant Lafayette with a special dinner at The Dutch. The $250 shindig will be be in that eatery's private room, it's on January 23 at 7:30 PM and you can get the tickets here. [via Grub Street]
