Asta is Opening in the Back Bay on January 22

With the health inspection behind them, Alexander Crabb and Shish Parsigian are poised to open Asta next Tuesday, January 22, said Shish in a telephone interview with us. In a vote of confidence, they are booking reservations for then.

The couple has been working for months to whip their 43-seat, tasting menu-only Back Bay New American into shape as we've followed their progress. “I think there are certainly things you can’t do until you’re about to open,” says Shish.
