Sitting down? The latest burger of the week to come out of Northern Liberties’ wackiest eatery combines three favorites into one. For the next seven days,
PYT will be serving a bacon-shell burger taco. Let’s dissect this Gryphon-like creation: actual strips of bacon are woven together, molded into a taco shell and fried. Into the pork shell goes a taco-spiced beef patty, which is topped with shredded cheese, lettuce, pico de gallo and an avocado-cilantro ranch sauce.
The absurdist-but-tempting fusion dish will be limited to just 20 orders each day (as the bacon shells are quite difficult to construct), and will be doled out on a first come, first serve basis. If you’re a fan of bacon, burgers, tacos or all of the above, head out to the Piazza early to get your fix, before this mythical beast is nothing but legend ($11; 215-964-9009).
