San Francisco's iconic North Beach bar
Tosca Cafe that was facing eviction has been saved by April Bloomfield's Spotted Pig group in NYC (and not taken over by strip club magnate Roger Forbes), reports the
San Francisco Business Times. The group which operates hotspot NYC eateries
The Spotted Pig,
The John Dory and
The Breslin has signed a 10-month lease, hoping to preserve the identity of the legendary spot but also make a few much needed renovations. No word yet on the planned menu or concept that will go into the space. [SFBT via
