For the uninitiated, the Lamb Jam is a chockfull afternoon of some of New England’s top chefs serving up tasty dishes made with the lamb's leg, shoulder, shank and breast - including belly and ribs. Participating chefs include Brian Reyelt of Citizen Public, Jim Solomon of The Fireplace, Robert Sisca of Bistro du Midi and Cassie Piuma of Oleana, among many others, including chefs from Portland, ME and Providence, RI. Buy a VIP ticket ($75; 2:30-3:30) and you’ll be treated to lamb charcuterie, Jefferson’s Bourbon Cocktails and an array of sheep’s milk cheeses. Buy four VIP tickets and snag a Lamb Jam Tour T-shirt. General admission is $60 (though buy before December 31 and it's $50). Local craft brews and wines will be poured. The event is sponsored by the American Lamb Board and Bostonchefs.com.
