As you lighten up on your holiday shopping, take some time to celebrate the solstice (or end of the world, as it were), feast on the seven fishes or relax with a holiday tea.

This Friday, still looking for more ways to indulge your last day on earth? Check out the “End of the World Relish in Revelry” at the Biltmore Bar & Grille or Local 149. At the Biltmore, in Newton Upper Falls, you’ll find a hot habanero lime hell bones bar snack ($6), a plate of house-made Andouille sausage, confit pork belly, fat beans ($21), all washed down with the Apocalypse Cocktail, a nice blend of tequila, Aperol, Clear Creek cherry liquor, and lemon ($10; 617-527-2550). Over at the Local 149 in South Boston, you get the habanero lime hell bones plate with “End of the World” purple slaw ($16), and the Mayan Michelada’s All Night Long beer cocktails with house hot sauce, lime, Maggi in light beer with slated rim, and can’t go wrong with $2 a pop (617-269-0900). Both places begin serving at 4 PM.

Saturday, head to Canary Square in Jamaica Plain for a traditional Feast of 7 Fishes, which includes warm escarole white bean and baccalo salad ($11); eel braised with olives, Calabrian chilies and tomatoes ($9), and baby octopus with potatoes and salsa verde ($12). Choose each dish a la carte or indulge at $45 per person (617-524-2500).

This Saturday and Sunday at L’Espalier in the Back Bay tea sommelier Cynthia Gold presents a special Holiday Tea with tea eggnog and festive foods (1:30 PM; $50 per person, $35 for kids under 12; 617-262-3023).
