In addition to running Table 31, chef Chris Scarduzio also has a restaurant in Atlantic City (Scarduzio's), so he got a first-hand taste of the effects of Superstorm Sandy on the Jersey Shore. To raise funds for relief and rebuilding for those affected, Scarduzio is joining with other Caesars Entertainment top toques, the Star Group and the Wish Upon a Hero foundation to throw a benefit dinner at his Comcast Center spot on Sunday, December 16.
Chefs will man food stations throughout the restaurant, and guests can choose from several ticket and donation options. General admission is $100, which provides entrance to the 6-11 PM event; VIP tickets are $250 and include access to a special Patron lounge; the “Do AC” tier is $500 and includes a hotel stay at Caesars; and at the top is the “Hero” level, a $1,500 donation that includes all of the above plus a special Viking Cooking School class with Scarduzio. Tickets are available online here (215-567-7111).
