Last week, the Seattle-based coffee giant debuted the Starbucks Metal Card, which comes loaded with $400 and costs $50 to make - resulting in a $450 price tag. That's a lot of Frappuccinos. Thanks to 'bucks-obsessed millions, the limited edition cards sold out like hotcakes (only 5,000 were made), and now of course today comes word that they are being sold on eBay for up to $5,000, reports
Consumerist. The cards were sold on the luxury goods website Gilt and offer special perks like free refills on drip coffee and tea. Got $5K burning a hole in your pocket? Put it to use
