McRib to Make Official Return December 17

Just in time for the Mayan apocalypse, the McRib will make its annual return on Monday, December 17, at select McDonald's nationwide, the company announced yesterday. As you may recall, the cult sandwich's return was delayed this year because of unseasonably warm weather (cough global warming) from October 22 to "mid-December." But now that the official launch date has been announced, you can forget counting down the days until Christmas - only 13 days until you can get your hands on a saucy McRib! Cue exploding heads.
