There’s nothing more Christmas-y than those whimsical, labor-intensive Bûches de Noël (aka Yule Logs) like Martha used to make featuring a frosted jelly roll cake topped with miniature mushrooms and other woodland creatures, and this year, Tout Sweet Pâtisserie’sYigit Pura is offering two versions (1.0 features a vanilla genoise and lemon curd, 2.0 features (shown above) is a flourless dark chocolate cake filled with Vietnamese-coffee buttercream), along with a slew of reimagined holiday sweets during the month of December. The Bûche de Noël and other ready-made cakes are available for pick-up at his Macy’s Union Square café but you can also place custom orders online.
