Mario Batali Pizzeria Likely Coming to Boston Soon

A tweet from superstar Italian chef Mario Batali Saturday has ignited stories of him allegedly bringing a “Babbopizzeria” to Boston’s Seaport District “very soon!!”

The latest story today in the Boston Herald cites the location to be 320 Summer Street, according to an anonymous source in that story.

Since there is no “Babbopizzeria” listed on the Mario Batali website, there is speculation that he will be opening an Otto Enoteca Pizzeria. This would be the third location for Otto, as they already operate in New York and Las Vegas. At this point, the Batali camp has issued no further details. Batali is co-host of The Chew, has authored upwards of nine cookbooks and is behind more than a dozen restaurant concepts.
