NY Times offers a first-hand account of what it was like to attend Top Chef: The Cruise that went down in April. The reviewer is mostly positive about the experience although notes that the quickfire challenges in person were not quite as entertaining. He also remarked about how hanging out with the chefs for days on end virtually eliminated the starstruck effect: "Once you’ve seen Mr. Mendelsohn in his bathing suit more than once, or Mr. Sosa milling around a bar more than a few times, the thrill is gone."Read the whole thing
