Eagle Rock Brewery also celebrates an anniversary as the first brewery to open in the city of Los Angeles in more than 60 years. Since 2010, they've given us brews like Solidarity, Manifesto, Populist and Revolution, which you'll taste among the 22 beers pouring at their tap takeover at Verdugo Bar on Saturday (Jan. 26, noon-4 PM). This is a good time to try the newest beer, Threes, a rye American strong ale that was brewed especially for the occasaion. The Mandoline Truck will be slinging banh mi and other Vietnamese treats. $15 per person, which includes two drinks plus a commemorative glass; additional beers are available for purchase (3408 Verdugo Rd.; 323-257-3408).
