Pop-Up Barbershop Ristorante Moves to Culver City

Chef Walter el Nagar (formerly of Michelin-starred La Botte) popped open his Barbershop Ristorante Ialiano at Il Covo last month, before the major renovations really kicked in for the new A.O.C. location. But now that Suzanne Goin and Caroline Styne will be moving in any day now, Nagar has to move on. Now you can find his molecular Italian cuisine at La Petite Creperie in Culver City Wednesday through Saturday evenings beginning January 30 through February 16.

The chef serves five-course menus that change every week based on what he finds at the Santa Monica Farmers Market and downtown fish markets that week, featuring his unique take on traditional dishes like four-cheese ravioli, red tagliolini with oyster, meyer lemon, bottarga and gold leaf, and cartoccio al mare, or "DTLA Fish Market catch of the day, in a bag!" $65 per person, and reservations are required by calling 424-272-5849 or via the website (3809 Grand View Blvd.).
