Harvest Seasonal Grill is settling into its new digs in the former Marathon Grill next to University City’s main movie theater, and has just launched a new happy hour. On weekdays from 4-6 PM, head to the “smart side of the city” (see what they did there?) for $5 Peak Brewing organic beers, $6 mulled wine and a special $10 cocktail, from which $2 will be donated to The Food Trust. Pair the sips with $5 bites, including the excellent flatbread, our pick for the best item on the menu (215-662-1100).

If you’re looking for a dinner drinking experience, Francoluigi's in South Philly is offering a great deal for wine lovers. After 30 years in operation, chef-owner Franco Borda acquired a liquor license two years ago, and has been carefully curating a concise wine list to accompany his Italian cuisine. Throughout the month of January, every single bottle on the list - which includes a dozen reds and whites - will be priced at $23 each. If you don’t make it this month, don’t worry - just go in February, when the per bottle cost goes up a dollar to $24 (215-755-8900).
