Spruce restaurant in Pacific Heights is hosting an all-star benefit dinner for No Kid Hungry, the national campaign spearheaded by Share Our Strength aimed to end childhood hunger in the US by 2015. Guest hosts Mark Sullivan and John Madriaga will be joined five other top toques - Jason Berthold (RN74), Craig Stoll (Delfina), Anthony Strong (Locanda), Belinda Leong (b. patisserie) and Amanda Freitag (NYC) - who’ll be turning out a multi-course seated dinner. Bigwig donors can sponsor an executive table for twenty for a cool $10,000 (which includes four tickets to Taste of the Nation 2013) but tickets are still available at the “commis” level, which grants access to the cocktail reception and dinner for $250/person. For reservations, contact Katie Bone at kbone@strength.org or 415-326-3767 (January 22; cocktail reception at 6 PM, dinner begins at 7 PM).
