Dine About Town promo, Oakland is hosting its very own
Restaurant Week this month. Running from January 18-27, the local promotion encourages diners to sample Oakland’s thriving culinary scene with special prix fixe menus priced at $20, $30 or $40 at over 45 participating eateries. We've come up with our own top restaurant recommendations plus a nifty interactive map to help you plot all your dining conquests. The 10-day event kicks off on Friday, January 18, with a panel discussion on the history of food and beverage in the region with some of Oakland’s most respected leaders in the field (January 18, 3-5 PM, City Hall, Hearing Room 3, RSVP to Margot Prado at mprado@oaklandnet.com).
