It's official, the Bowery has been completely swankified. This week, EMM Group debuted The General, the final piece of a sprawling new complex in the space that used to house Crash Mansion. EMM are the folks behind
Catch in the Meatpacking District and they should have no problem filling this sprawling 300 seat room. Like at their MPD hot spot,
Top Chef winner Hung Huynh is manning the stoves here. He's conceived a huge menu of Asian dishes ranging from dumplings and buns to large format dishes like beef and broccoli with braised bone-in short rib.
The restaurant joins two of last year's hottest club openings, Bow and
