It has become a sold-out annual tradition, so we’re giving you the heads up now. Lincoln's lauded French/Japanese restaurant Aka Bistro is holding its al fresco fondue party on Sunday, January 27. The early evening extravaganza starts with mulled wine and charcuterie indoors, followed by a four-cheese fondue complete with croutons and vegetables like pickled mushrooms prepared by chef and co-owner Chris Chung. The group heads outside to the patio and, in the glow of heaters, commences to eat, drink, huddle and cuddle their way through a lovely evening. “You think you are in Chamonix - it’s crazy,” says co-owner and general manager Christian Touche.
