Rus Uz Brings Uzbek to Ballston

Eastern Europe and Central Asia are flashing all over the dining radar screen. Ballston charmer Rus Uz is the latest showcase of the former Soviet Union’s cuisines to open its doors. Specializing in dishes from Uzbek (near Afghanistan) and Russia, it joins Mari Vanna below Dupont Circle, and the soon to open Amber on Capitol Hill in offering tempting versions of cuisines that have been hard to find.
