Qi Thai Grill in Brooklyn Opening on Wednesday

After initial delays pushed back the December 12 launch of the new Sripraphai and Pichet Ong (Sugar and Plumm) street food-inspired Williamsburg collaboration, Qi Thai Grill, we've heard it will be officially opening this Wednesday, January 9. This will be the first Brooklyn location for the Qi brand, which includes outposts in Times Square (with a menu designed by Ong) as well as Union Square. The 4,000 sq. ft. restaurant, which used to be a warehouse, will first begin with dinner, continuing with lunch on Saturday, January 12 (176 N. 9th St., Brooklyn; 718-302-1499).
