Let's face it, America is doggone crazy when it comes to hot dogs. According to study done in 2011 by the National Hot Dog & Sausage Council, we spent $1.7 billion on hot dogs in a year, with Los Angeles residents eating the most of any city - sausage fest! But just because you can get them everywhere doesn’t mean all hot dogs are created equal. They can come stuffed with crawfish, beef, pork, or chicken, or topped with cheese, wrapped in bacon, or served on any number of rolls. From dirty-water dogs to haute kimchi franks, these links are worth taking a trek for.
