Here's a new bar to bolster the burgeoning Upper East Side drinking scene: The District, a Victorian-inspired joint with an industrial twist, is now pouring at Third Avenue and 94th Street. Designer Benjamin Kay of Adorn Designs (the Penny Farthing, Corner Social) salvaged parts of the interior from an old mansion in North Carolina, including the wine cabinet's beveled crystal doors, and he also illuminated the ceiling with 100 Edison bulbs. There's a food menu that leans Irish - think shepherd's pie. For now, here's a look at the drinks lineup (1679 Third Ave.).
