Food nerds take note: TEDxManhattan 2013, titled "Changing the Way We Eat," recently released its list of speakers. Among the notables are White House pastry chef Bill Yosses, Back Forty's Peter Hoffman, and Anna Lappe of the Small Planet Institute. The February 16 conference also includes experts on such topics as fracking, factory farming, and "food and faith." Interested attendees must apply to be part of the "curated" mix of audience members; if you're chosen, tickets are $135. Should you not make the cut, know that the entire shebang will be webcast live. More info here.
