Chef Kris Morningstar and crew threw a little 'Nog and Hog party for fellow restaurant industry peeps last night at Ray's & Stark Bar, and we somehow found ourselves there eating sausage rolls, crispy chewy pig's ears and plates of juicy roast pork. Here Morningstar dishes up some pig for Short Order chef Christian Page (far left), who couldn't keep his eyes off the cutting board. For obvious reasons we had to taste the Shot Balla, a seasonal smoky mezcal libation with fennel syrup and cinnamon stick, but thoroughly enjoyed the rummy, creamy eggnog, too. It's official: the holidays are here!
