LA is where everyone tries to keep up with the Joneses, and nowhere is it more apparent than in the dining scene. As soon as one place finds success with sausages and beer, five more pop up around the city. And pop-ups? The chefs running the temporary restaurants are starting to find permanent homes, almost en masse. If you want Cali-Southern cuisine - much different than Southern Californian cuisine - there are at least three places for country ham, chow chow and biscuits with local honey.
