Korean Food: Big in 2013? |
Atul Kochhar, head chef at Benares thinks Korean food will become popular in the UK while Sabrina Ghayour, supperclub host, food writer and private chef is calling Persian food or Persian-inspired dishes using lots of saffron, pistachios and cumin. John Whaite, winner of Great British Bake Off 2012 believes the deep fat fryer is going to make a massive comeback - perfect for doughnuts, churros and spring rolls but Marina O'Loughlin, Guardian restaurant critic, is hoping that vegetables will be on trend next year presumably to counterbalance the current junk food obsession and prevent us all from having a heart attack next year.
