Free Lunch at The Melt Downtown, Hits Hollywood This Weekend

You still have a wee bit of time to get a free meal at The Melt, the SF-based grilled cheesery that opened at the new Figat7th complex yesterday (password: brie). Or if you missed out, check out the new location at Sunset + Vine (in the former Bodega Wine Bar space) on Saturday between 11 AM and 3 PM for the same deal (same password).

The Melt specializes in sandwiches - aged cheddar on artisan white bread, fontina and provolone on garlic bread, colby and jack on whole grain, brie with apple and honey on French bread - and soups. You can get combos, like this week's short rib grilled cheese with black bean soup, which you can order online and pick it up at any location.
